As a Radiologic Technologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting. Your primary responsibility will be to perform diagnostic radiological procedures, utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment. You will work under the supervision of a radiologist as needed and be responsible for patient registration and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiological procedures, utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment.
Work under the supervision of a radiologist as needed.
Responsible for patient registration and scheduling.
Participate in an on-call or standby schedule as required.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) OR Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) required.
Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire required.
Radiologic Technologist Certification required at hire from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience performing general radiographic exams using digital equipment within the last three (3) years.
Proficient knowledge of radiology equipment and exams to perform fluoroscopy, DXA, surgery, portable, and routine radiographic exams.
Experience with McKesson PACS and EPIC electronic medical records system.
