Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement nutrition care plans for inpatients and outpatients, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Supervise and manage a team of Clinical Dietitians and Dietary Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure that departmental goals are met.
  • Monitor and report on departmental quality assurance, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
  • Manage the CBORD Computerized Diet Office system, ensuring that it is up-to-date and functioning correctly.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), registered by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND).
  • Current licensure status with the Board of Dietetics for the State of South Carolina.
  • Strong management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • At least three years of clinical dietetics experience, preferably in an acute care facility.
