Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Funeral Director/Embalmer to join our team at Park Lawn Memorial Group, LLC. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to client families, ensuring that their needs are met with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with client families to create personalized memorialization services
  • Coordinate all aspects of funeral and memorial services, including logistics and arrangements
  • Prepare and embalm deceased individuals in accordance with legal requirements and company policies
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of necessary documents and paperwork
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to client families and their guests
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless execution of funeral and memorial services
Requirements
  • Valid state-issued Funeral Director and Embalmer License
  • 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years of experience as a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to natural elements such as inclement weather, extreme temperatures, and uneven ground. Employees in this role must be willing to work safely and comply with the Company's safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment as required.

This position may also require up to 10% out-of-area and overnight travel.
