Maintenance Technician Job Description

Morgan Truck Body LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Have knowledge of general millwright techniques, welding, rigging, and troubleshooting electrical devices
  • Be capable of reading blueprints and schematics
  • Have knowledge of predictive/preventative proactive maintenance and LOTO, Fall Protection, and Confined Space practices
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a maintenance department associated with a manufacturing setting
  • Possess knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Must have a valid driver's license
Work Environment:

This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 35 pounds.
