Role Overview:
As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring Pet Parents have access to the best pet care products. You will contribute to the store's success by supporting the Store Manager in executing operational tasks. Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership
  • Assist in driving sales, service, and customer experience initiatives to meet sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Monitor customer service practices to ensure all staff engage with customers professionally and address any complaints effectively.

  • Support the Store Manager in managing labor hours to meet customer demands and operational compliance.
  • Facilitate training programs to ensure all associates are equipped for success.
  • Assist in hiring processes and maintain a proactive staffing plan.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to organize community events and build relationships with local rescue organizations.
Business Insight
  • Regularly assess business performance and adapt to meet operational needs.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years in a retail management position.
  • Passion for working with animals.
  • College degree is a plus.
Job Requirements:
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to manage a rotating schedule.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Physical Demands:
  • Role requires physical exertion, including lifting up to 55lbs multiple times during a shift.
  • Most tasks involve active engagement on the sales floor.
  • Potential for occasional solitary work.
  • Risk of minor injuries from pets and common workplace hazards.
