Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students referred for possible speech and language needs, determining eligibility for speech services, and providing individual and/or group therapy sessions for children with identified speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment and Eligibility
    • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs
    • Determine eligibility for speech services
  • Therapy Services
    • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for children with identified speech and language disorders
    • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with special education needs
  • Consultation and Collaboration
    • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
    • Maintain accurate records for all children on the caseload
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Provide reports of children's progress to parents
    • Organize caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school or classroom

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Massachusetts SLP license
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Massachusetts Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings
