**Job Summary**

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team in the acute care service. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting and interpreting modified barium swallow studies (MBSS) and flexible endoscopic evaluations of swallowing (FEES).

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop management plans for adult inpatients with disorders of swallowing, speech, language, and cognition.
  • Perform clinical swallowing evaluations, MBSS, and FEES as needed.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education on evaluation findings and management recommendations.
  • Communicate patient care and discharge needs to the healthcare team and arrange for follow-up as indicated.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough written documentation in accordance with facility and departmental guidelines.
  • Serve as a clinical resource to colleagues and other medical professionals.
  • Stay current with advances in speech-language pathology assessment and treatment techniques through ongoing education and professional development.

**Requirements:**

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current, unrestricted license and certification as required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and ASHA.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least two years of acute care/LTACH/acute rehab experience.
  • Independence in MBSS and FEES.
