Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Plant Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the asphalt plant, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and that production targets are met.
  • Lead Plant Crew: Hire, train, and direct a team of plant employees to ensure that they are working efficiently and safely.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all asphalt products meet the highest quality standards, and collaborate with the quality control manager to implement quality control measures.
  • Cost Control: Assist in implementing cost control measures to meet budgetary requirements, and maintain accurate records of time and materials.
  • Environmental and Safety Regulations: Ensure that all environmental and safety regulations are met, and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in the asphalt industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of asphalt production processes.
