Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a travel Respiratory Therapist with Host Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Oregon.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
