The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 to $120,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Power Systems Engineer where you will play a key role in designing and implementing high-voltage substation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Development: Apply standard 3-phase calculations, spatial awareness, and geometry skills to design high-voltage substation equipment specifications and evaluations.
  2. Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  3. Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry standards (NESC, NEC, IEEE) and apply knowledge of protective relaying, grounding methods, and high voltage and medium voltage equipment specifications.
  4. Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
  • 4+ years of experience in power systems engineering, substation design, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of NESC, NEC, and IEEE standards and ability to apply them in the workplace.
