Position Overview

Per Diem Security Guard for Inpatient Facility

Conifer Park Inc. is seeking a dedicated Per Diem Security Guard to enhance our security operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and safeguarding the premises in compliance with established protocols. This role requires sound judgment, discretion, and a commitment to confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security measures throughout the facility and report any irregularities.
  • Assist clinical and nursing staff with patients requiring behavioral interventions, adhering to organizational policies.
  • Compile comprehensive reports detailing all security checks conducted, including incidents and safety violations.
  • Oversee surveillance systems, promptly reporting any significant observations.
  • Support admission and clinical teams with personal and luggage inspections of patients.

Shifts Available: Flexible scheduling including Days, Evenings, Overnights, and Weekends on a per diem basis.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid NYS Security License.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
