Primary Care Opportunity at a Fast-Growing Medical Center

We are seeking an experienced and skilled primary care physician to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a member of our interdisciplinary health care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to veterans presenting with ambulatory/primary care appointments.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess strong clinical judgment. They will also be proficient in performing routine check-ups, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic health care problems, and prescribing medication and treatments.

In addition to providing primary care services, the successful candidate will participate in educational activities to promote, improve, and maintain their skills and proficiency in women's health. This may include teaching health promotion and disease prevention to patients and participating in workshops and conferences.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care to veterans presenting with ambulatory/primary care appointments
  • Participate in educational activities to promote, improve, and maintain skills and proficiency in women's health
  • Teach health promotion and disease prevention to patients
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice (preferred)
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
