Job Description

Western Digital is seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our HDD Program Management Team, you will be responsible for planning and defining development phases, product requirements, and product features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the HDD Program Management Team to plan and define development phases, product requirements, and product features.
  • Responsible for bring up of manufacturing test process and implementation of product features.
  • Interlock with subsystem teams (Electronics, Firmware, Servo/Mechanical, HDI, Failure Analysis) to coordinate strategy to meet manufacturing test milestones, analyze and resolve issues identified during system integration, identify root cause of HDD failures and implement corrective actions, and drive yield roadmap and improvements.
  • Identify and interpret data collection requirements.

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS CE, CS, or EE graduating between December 2023 - December 2024.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organization skills.
  • Ability to handle more than one project at a time.
  • Experience with data extraction, data analysis, and statistics.
  • Familiarity with programming and tool development using TCL, Python, C, and C++.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.
