• Foster vendor relationships, including contracting and payment approvals.
• Mentor and guide junior staff in executing tasks according to firm Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Desired Work Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years in environmental consulting within the real estate sector.
• Proficient understanding of ASTM Phase I & II standards.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental compliance requirements.
• Strong technical writing skills and effective field documentation capabilities.
• Conduct field assessments and client interviews to gather necessary information.
• Ability to operate field equipment for soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling.
• Competence in performing hazardous materials inventories and identifying field hazards and contaminant sources.
Skills Required:
• Exceptional time management abilities.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and analytical thinker.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
• Ethical team player capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
Education Required & Credentials Considered a Plus:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from an accredited institution; Master’s Degree is advantageous.
• Advanced certifications such as Professional Geoscientist or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) are preferred.
Mandatory Pre-Employment Screening:
• Standard requirement for large corporations.
Salary:
