Rolling Mill Operations Specialist

As a Rolling Mill Operations Specialist, you'll play a critical role in the success of our team. You'll be responsible for developing a general knowledge of all Rolling Mill systems, identifying offset conditions, and implementing corrective actions to maintain effective Rolling Mill operations. You'll also be directing bundling operations to ensure correct bundle piece counts and number and position of ties, obtaining information concerning order specifications, rolling sequences, piece counts, product length, and bundling perimeters, making minor adjustments to bundling sequences, and becoming proficient in using all other equipment and tools.
We're looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year of field experience in heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing environments, preferably with steel industry experience. You'll need to be able to work a 12-hour shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays, as a team player in a fast-paced environment. You'll also need to be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for the duration of the shift, and work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes, and mists.
