About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pathology Medical Director to lead our team at Grand Strand Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the pathology department and ensuring the highest quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the pathology department, including staff, budget, and operations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pathology and implement best practices
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members
Requirements
  • AP/CP Board Certification required
  • Medical directorship experience required
  • High level pathology experience required, subspecialty interest preferred
  • South Carolina licensed or FCVS in place preferred
  • Excellent communication skills required
