Fitter - Fabrication Specialist

Award-winning Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in Cullman, AL. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and installation of industrial machines in a fast-paced fabrication facility.

• Interpret shop drawings to determine layout and assembly procedures.
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to plan dimensions and requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, and tack weld steel materials using various tools.
• Perform quality checks to verify dimensions, alignment, and welds.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and maintain a safe working environment.

• Proven experience as a structural or miscellaneous steel fitter.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a team environment.
