Fabrication Specialist

Award-winning Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team in Cullman, AL. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, working in a fabrication facility to aid and assist with the installation of various industrial machines.

• Interpret Shop Drawings: Determine layout and assembly procedures to ensure accurate and efficient production.
• Fabrication and Assembly: Fabricate and assemble structural steel components, adhering to plan dimensions and requirements.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks to verify dimensions, alignment, and welds.
• Welding and Cutting: Measure, cut, shape, and tack weld steel materials using various tools.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals.

• Experience: Proven experience as a structural or miscellaneous steel fitter.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, ability to stand for long periods, and lifting 50 lbs.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications: Ability to pass a weld test.
