Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Diagnostic Exams: Conduct X-ray examinations to diagnose or rule out medical conditions, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Operate Imaging Equipment: Safely and effectively operate X-ray equipment, maintaining a high level of technical proficiency and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Provide Patient Care: Greet patients, obtain medical histories, and provide clear instructions to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Adhere to regulatory requirements, facility standards, and ARRT standards of ethics, ensuring the highest level of quality and patient safety.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent, ARRT certification, and NY State license in Radiologic Technology.
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience in general radiologic technology, with a strong understanding of imaging principles and practices.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
