Aviation Planning Manager Position:

National Airlines is seeking an experienced Aviation Planning Manager to join its team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our flights.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure that crew rosters are effectively coordinated and aligned with our operational goals and future growth plans.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement crew schedules to ensure compliance with FAR and company policies.
  • Coordinate trip assignments and administer crew bid awards, vacation/PTO management.
  • Collaborate with critical departments to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
  • Solicit feedback from Crewmembers and propose process changes to support their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Operations Planning: Plan and manage crew operations beyond the immediate 72-hour window, ensuring compliance with FAR and company policies.
  • Roster Management: Administer crew bid awards, vacation/PTO management, and coordinate trip assignments to ensure all flights can be legally operated as planned.
  • Communication: Liaise with critical departments to collaborate on flight and training schedules, integrate crew availability, and ensure seamless execution of strategies.
  • Crewmember Satisfaction: Maintain open lines of communication with Crewmembers, solicit feedback, and propose process changes to support their needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in airline operations, with a focus on crew scheduling/planning.
  • Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 117 and Part 121.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Licensed to work in the US.
  • Pass a background check.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
