Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering food products to our customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport food products to customers
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
  • Comply with all applicable Department of Transportation regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Unload and deliver products to customers using a variety of methods
  • Accurately complete delivery and pick-up paperwork
  • Maintain contact with Dispatch to receive delivery or pick-up instructions
Requirements
  • Valid CDL A license
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Valid current DOT Health Card
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years commercial driving experience
  • Food service distribution industry experience
  • Onboard computer and electronic log system experience
  • Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience
