About the Opportunity
The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is seeking highly qualified candidates for tenure-track faculty positions in the Health Promotion Research Center. As a leading institution in health sciences, we are committed to reducing the burden of disease through innovative research, education, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in one or more of the following areas: physical activity, obesity, and nutrition; cancer survivorship; health behavior change and lifestyle interventions; community-engaged research; Native American health inequities; implementation science and health services research; and assessment of and interventions focused on opioid misuse.
- Develop and lead research projects, including grant writing and management.
- Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the university and with external partners to advance the mission of the Health Promotion Research Center.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in a health-related field.
- Assistant Professor level applicants should have a strong academic record and evidence of scholarship, with potential for acquiring extramural funding.
- Associate/Full Professor level applicants should have a strong record of extramural funding.
