Job Summary

Ferdinand Plavidal MD is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and prepare patients for ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and understanding.
  • Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, including positioning patients and selecting the appropriate transducer, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Manage and process documentation, including developing film, making hard copy images, documenting tests, and maintaining accurate department records, reports, and files.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, reporting any issues to management for prompt resolution.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer is required.
  • Must be certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance with state regulations.
  • Current ARRT or ARDMS license is required.
