Senior Mainframe Security Engineer

Innova Solutions is actively seeking a Mainframe Security Engineer with RACF expertise.
Position Type: Contract/Fulltime/W2
Duration: 24+ Months
Location: 100% Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in complex initiatives and deliverables within the realm of Information Security Engineering, contributing to extensive planning related to security deliverables. Assess and analyze intricate Information Security Engineering challenges that necessitate a thorough evaluation of various factors.
- Aid in resolving complex issues and collaborate with colleagues to achieve Information Security Engineering objectives while applying a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with client personnel in the Information Security Engineering domain.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in mainframe security risk assessment and remediation.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Resource Access Control Facility (RACF), specifically with current and supported versions (z/OS 2.1 and above).
- Over 5 years of experience in mainframe security utilizing native z/OS and RACF tools.
- At least 5 years of experience executing RACF commands and conducting diagnostics.
- 5+ years of experience with Job Control Language (JCL).
- 5+ years of experience with Time Sharing Option (TSO).
- Familiarity with zSecure tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- REXX coding experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Pay range offered will be based on various factors, including education, work experience, and specific job duties.
