Position Overview

This role involves overseeing the Slot Department with a focus on achieving operational goals and maintaining a professional image for the organization.

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the Slot Tech Manager and the Slot Tech Assistant Manager.

Responsible for supervising assigned personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the upkeep, repair, and optimal functioning of slot machines and electronic components.
  • Oversee and mentor all slot technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control protocols related to machine management, including removal, installation, maintenance, and key management.
  • Manage the preventative maintenance program and maintain accurate logs.
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of slot machines and parts.
  • Assess and track training requirements for all slot technicians.
  • Procure necessary parts for slot machines.
  • Participate in the annual performance evaluations of slot technicians.
  • Delegate and follow up on work assignments.
  • Adhere to regulatory procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

  • Capable of making informed decisions regarding customer and employee issues.
  • Skilled in implementing and managing disciplinary actions.
  • Ability to analyze project timelines, allocate resources, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Competent in developing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Effective in interacting with the public and casino staff.
  • Proficient in report writing and maintaining employee schedules and slot records.
  • Capable of identifying and addressing training needs for employees and community members.
  • Knowledgeable about casino operations and relevant reporting requirements.
  • Familiar with all slot and gaming equipment.
  • Able to perform under pressure and manage stress effectively.
  • Must possess fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Qualifications:

Essential Education and Experience

Required:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in slot technology, including at least six (6) months in a supervisory capacity.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.

Licensing Requirements

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the necessary Gaming License.
  • Will undergo post-offer, pre-employment, and random drug testing.

Work Environment

  • Work is conducted indoors.
  • Hours may vary, with potential for overtime.
  • Must be prepared to work extended hours in high-pressure situations.
  • Exposure to various hazards, including smoke, dust, and elevated noise levels.
  • Tasks may require navigating uneven surfaces and prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sitting.
  • Physical requirements include bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
  • Manual dexterity is essential for operating equipment and performing maintenance tasks.
