We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Faculty Member at the Georgia Cancer Center. The successful candidate will have expertise in basic or translational cancer research and will complement our existing strengths in tumor biology, genetics, and immunology.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct innovative and competitive research in cancer biology and related fields.
- Develop and maintain a strong research program with a focus on cancer research.
- Collaborate with other researchers in the Georgia Cancer Center and beyond.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring activities, including advising PhD students, post-docs, and medical students.
- Engage in service activities, including serving on Cancer Center and University committees.
- Ph.D. or M.D. or equivalent degree.
- Assistant Professor: Early level career as a faculty member.
- Associate Professor: Mid-level career faculty member with at least five years at the rank of Assistant Professor or comparable training, background, and experience.
- Professor: Senior level career faculty member with at least five years at the rank of Associate Professor or comparable training, background, and experience.
