We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Surgery APP to join our Cardiovascular team at Ascension St. John.
Responsibilities- Obtain patient history and perform assessments via observation, interview, and examination.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies.
- Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
- Document delivery of healthcare and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) and Licensed Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
- Education: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with Master's degree preferred.
- Work Experience: 1 year of experience preferred.
