Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of public finance credits to provide high-quality ratings and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of local governments, their financial structures, and market trends.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and other team members to ensure seamless communication and knowledge sharing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market conditions to provide informed analysis and recommendations.
- Contribute to the development of rating methodologies and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in our ratings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, government, public policy, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in public finance, rating analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop well-supported conclusions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
