Job Summary

Kairos Academies is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team of educators. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal growth of our exceptional learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them with academic tasks, organization, and time management.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behavioral interventions and strategies.
  • Assist with data collection and progress monitoring to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
  • Support students with daily living skills, such as toileting, feeding, and personal care.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; paraprofessional certification preferred.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities and/or in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and move students as needed.
