Faculty Opportunity in Critical Care Medicine

Emory University is seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join the Department of Anesthesiology in the Division of Critical Care Medicine. As a leading research university, Emory fosters excellence and attracts world-class talent to innovate today and prepare leaders for the future.

About the Division:

The Division of Critical Care Medicine is a multidisciplinary team of physicians from anesthesiology and emergency medicine backgrounds, working together to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients. With a strong focus on education, research, and clinical excellence, the Division is committed to advancing the field of critical care medicine.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit and other critical care settings
  • Supervise residents and advanced practice providers in the operating rooms and ICUs
  • Participate in bedside teaching, formal didactics, and simulation-based education for trainees at every level
  • Contribute to clinical research, quality improvement, and other academic pursuits

Requirements:

  • M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
  • Eligible to apply for a medical license in the state of Georgia
  • American Board of Anesthesiology board certified/eligible
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Critical Care Medicine
