We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Flight Operations Coordinator at General Dynamics. As a Flight Operations Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team to improve efficiency across the company's fleet.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Flight Operations organization to improve efficiency across the company's fleet
  • Interface with the Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Manager and VP of Flight Ops to complete projects that enhance processes and efficiencies for all mission-specific fleets
  • Complete assigned projects and work plans that include flight safety systems, business intelligence/analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical, mechanical, or systems engineering
  • Support efficient work practices and processes

Additional Functions:

  • Comply with safety rules and procedures
  • Ensure application of all company regulations and policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor or masters degree in Aviation, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Knowledge and understanding of multiple operating systems and Microsoft Office suite is preferred
  • Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher at time of application
  • Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and be available for at least a 12-week internship
  • Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work
