Job Title: Daycare Cook/Cleaner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Daycare Cook/Cleaner at New Generation Daycare and Learning Center-Lincoln.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for our children, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing exceptional customer service to our families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for our children, adhering to our nutrition standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, dining area, and surrounding spaces.
  • Ensure all surfaces, equipment, and utensils are sanitized and cleaned regularly.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining the overall appearance of the childcare center.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and policies.
Requirements
  • Valid identification and background check.
  • Clear driving record and ability to transport children safely.
  • TB test and completion of required new hire trainings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or relevant experience in childcare or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
  • Servsafe Food Manager's certification.
  • Verifiable completion of 24 child-related training hours.
