Job SummaryThe Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to patients, families, and communities. This role will involve developing and implementing evidence-based practice guidelines, leading quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support to nursing staff
- Participate in research and education initiatives to advance the field of nursing
- Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Virginia
- Three to five years of experience in a clinical setting, including healthcare research
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
