Position Overview: We are looking for a committed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become part of our educational team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong dedication to supporting students in achieving their communication and language objectives.

Essential Duties:

  • Assessment: Perform thorough speech and language evaluations to determine student needs and create tailored intervention plans.
  • Therapeutic Services: Deliver direct therapy to students facing speech and language challenges, focusing on areas such as articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and social communication.
  • Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and other professionals to seamlessly integrate therapy goals within the classroom and enhance students' overall academic success.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure meticulous documentation of student progress, treatment strategies, and therapy sessions.
  • Consultative Support: Provide advice and resources to school personnel and families on enhancing communication skills and addressing speech and language difficulties.
  • Ongoing Learning: Commit to professional growth by staying informed about the latest advancements in speech-language pathology and engaging in continuous education opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Familiarity with contemporary speech and language assessment methodologies and therapeutic practices.
