We are seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of new scientific knowledge and innovative experimental techniques for assessing explosion hazards associated with emerging renewable-energy applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct experimental and analytical studies to develop science-based models and tools for solving practical business problems in industrial and commercial property protection.
- Collaborate with senior research staff members to design and implement experimental and analytical studies.
- Develop and apply advanced experimental methods, including optical diagnostics, and analytical models in thermal-fluid science, especially combustion research.
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to challenging technical problems in hydrogen safety, battery technology, and premixed combustion.
- Ph.D. degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, aerospace engineering, or applied physics.
- Strong fundamental background in combustion, gas dynamics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and applied mathematics.
- Extensive experience in experimental methods and developing analytical models in thermal-fluid science.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
