We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Engineer to join our team at GeoLogics Corporation. As a key member of our Product Development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RF circuitry for receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers.
  • Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test.
  • Prepare test methods and specifications; analyze and test RF hardware to verify performance characteristics.
  • Provide inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and support manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase.
  • Develop RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements, and transmission line equipment.
  • Perform link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources.
  • Develop and allocate RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements.
  • Identify and track RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Perform RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis.
  • Support Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with RF test equipment and RF hardware verification.
  • Experience with RF production support.
  • RF Probe Station Experience.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in RF circuit design and RF PCB design up to 18 GHz.
  • Experience in ADS or AWR Microwave Office.
  • Experience in full-wave simulation/analysis (HFSS or CST).
  • Commercial RF design experience.
