Job Summary

The RN Charge Nurse plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents at Regency Integrated Health Services. This position requires a skilled nurse who can assess, document, and report resident conditions, as well as implement care plans and administer medications as prescribed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular rounds to observe and assess resident conditions
  • Document and report changes in resident condition to the healthcare team
  • Implement care plans and administer medications as prescribed
  • Collaborate with the physician to ensure accurate and timely documentation
  • Perform narcotic reconciliation and identify significant changes in resident condition
  • Oversee and monitor aides to ensure high-quality care
  • Initiate and complete incident and accident reports as needed
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
