This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The Environmental Services Technician will perform general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas, operating and maintaining equipment, and reporting any issues or concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleans and disinfects assigned areas using department cleaning procedures.
  • Operates and maintains assigned equipment according to established procedures.
  • Reports problems with equipment and facility in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Maintains work and storage areas following established policy and procedures to ensure safety.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated communication skills to include reading color coded labels and chemicals as well as following written and verbal directions.
  • Availability to work a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the department.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional housekeeping experience.

Work Environment:

This position is located at Intermountain Health American Fork Hospital in American Fork, Utah.
