Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Doug Smith Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram American Fork. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Address customer concerns and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance in our dealership management system.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance efficiently, adhering to dealership, state, and factory standards.
  • Conduct thorough multi-point inspections and record results in our ASR program.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and parts advisors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Notify service advisors of any issues that may impact customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Complete all factory training and stay up-to-date with the latest procedures.
  • Respect customer vehicles and maintain a clean environment.
  • Understand and adhere to factory warranty policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of automotive experience preferred.
  • Factory training is preferred but not required.
  • Self-motivated and productive.
  • Excellent communication, patience, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • General mechanical skills.
  • Brand-specific training/certification is preferred but not required.
  • Safety and emissions certification preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer skills.
What We Offer

Competitive salary: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year.
