Position Summary

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Guardian Flight is tasked with executing field maintenance on our fleet of aircraft (including King Air 90/200 and Pilatus PC12). This role demands adherence to the highest standards of safety and compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies. The technician will report directly to the Maintenance Training Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and document maintenance on aircraft airframe, engines, propellers, and appliances, following the guidelines set forth in the company General Maintenance Manual, Approved Aircraft Inspection Program, and FAA regulations.
  • Ensure that all maintenance records and associated documentation are accurately completed and filed according to company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain tools and ground support equipment as necessary.
  • Collaborate with pilots to address aircraft discrepancies, providing technical support and assisting with the MEL deferral process.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager on Call and the Maintenance Control Department to ensure efficient repairs and proper documentation.
  • Travel to various locations to provide maintenance support for training aircraft as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • 3-5 years of experience in maintaining turboprop and/or turbine-powered aircraft, preferably Beechcraft King Air and Pilatus PC-12.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical data related to aircraft maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and avionics systems with troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel for field maintenance support.
  • Availability for after-hours maintenance support, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong work ethic and customer service skills, with effective communication abilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to the success of the Maintenance department and the organization.
  • Basic aircraft mechanic tools and accountability for personal tools in line with company policies.
  • Proficiency in a computerized work environment, including Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software.
