Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Clinical Staffing Coordinator include:

  • Reviewing and assisting with daily clinical staffing to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Maintaining the scheduling system and/or manual records of staffing assignments and modifications.
  • Collaborating with clinical unit leadership to facilitate staffing adjustments that minimize financial impact.
  • Assisting in data collection for reporting on financial metrics and staffing-related information.
  • Serving as a resource for staff inquiries regarding clinical schedules.
  • Maintaining files for the Staffing office, including reports, staffing sheets, agency bookings, and staff credentials, while inputting data into the electronic scheduling system.
Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant cumulative job-specific experience.
  • Note: Required professional licensure or certification may substitute for education or experience, if applicable.
