We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at Stryten Energy. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our workspace, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting, to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power wet scrubbers, forklifts, and other equipment as needed to complete tasks efficiently.
- Waste Management: Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and hazardous waste in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.
- Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure working environment by reporting any hazards or incidents to management and following company safety protocols.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Training and Certifications: Forklift and floor scrubber license, RCRA training, and annual training as required.
- Equipment and Protective Gear: Familiarity with small hand tools, washers, dryers, power scrubbers, buffers, mops, and other cleaning equipment. Use of safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, steel-toed shoes, and gloves as needed.
- Physical Demands: Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and turning required. Ability to sit for up to 4 hours while operating equipment.
Our facilities are exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, and lead dust. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and must be able to communicate effectively with team members and management.
What We Offer- Competitive Pay: Starting pay of $18.72 per hour.
