UniversalCIS is on the lookout for a dedicated professional with a proven track record in the appraisal industry to become a vital part of our team as a full-time Senior Appraisal Reviewer. The perfect candidate will exhibit strong initiative, integrity, and professionalism while taking full responsibility for their assignments.

  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
  • Annual Compensation: $40,000-$42,750
This role is designed for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate a comprehensive range of appraisal products to guarantee exceptional quality.
  • Analyze client requests and effectively communicate relevant details to appraisers.
  • Compose insightful communications to appraisers addressing all concerns and setting clear service expectations.
  • Review Value Reconciliations and other valuation opinions to ensure high standards.
  • Serve as the primary contact for complex transactional escalations involving internal staff and vendors.
  • Conduct random audits for clients.
  • Engage actively in team and Valuation department meetings.
  • Manage assigned reviews, ensuring production goals and standards align with company expectations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a current Residential Appraiser license or higher with at least five (5) years of residential appraisal experience.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of appraisal principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of utilizing standard office equipment.
  • Quick to learn new technologies and software applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Experience in appraisal review is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate.
  • National review experience is advantageous.
  • A background in banking or lending is a plus.
  • Experience in secondary market or portfolio evaluations is beneficial.
