Job Responsibilities
The Heavy Equipment Specialist will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, cranes, excavators, and forklifts. The successful candidate will also be required to maintain and repair equipment, as well as ensure that all safety standards are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as 1-3 years of industry experience. They must also be able to obtain required licensing or certification to operate certain equipment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye-foot coordination, depth perception, near and far vision acuity, good reaction time, and physical stamina. They must also be familiar with global positioning systems (GPS) and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Estimated Salary Range
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
