We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineering Lead to join our team at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC). As a key member of our Land Development Sector, you will be responsible for managing project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and energy clients across our Texas footprint.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage project teams to develop land development plans
- Review and approve design aspects, including site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, and utilities
- Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials to ensure successful project outcomes
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers to develop their skills and expertise
- Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely completion
- 15+ years of experience working in the Land Development Sector
- BS/MS in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.)
- Ability to speak and write professionally
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Excel, Word, and other computer modeling software
- Local connections with developers, architects, energy clients, or other land development arenas
