Civil Engineering Lead Job Description

As a Civil Engineering Lead at Civil and Environmental Consultants, you will oversee project teams to create land development plans for commercial, institutional, and energy clients across our Texas footprint. Your responsibilities will include managing projects, reviewing work products, quality control, client interfacing, budgeting, and mentoring junior engineers. You will also review design aspects, including site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. Additionally, you will interact with clients, contractors, local government officials, and impact the project from conceptual and design phases through regulatory review, bidding, and construction.

Qualifications
15+ years of experience working in the Land Development Sector;
BS/MS in Civil Engineering;
Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.);
Ability to speak and write professionally;
Experienced in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Excel, Word, HEC-RAS, and other computer modeling software a plus;
Local connections with developers, architects, energy clients, or other land development arenas.
