Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Instrument and Controls (I&C) Maintenance Planner to join our team at the Crane Clean Energy Center in Middletown, PA. The successful candidate will plan and prepare work packages for maintenance departments to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant maintenance, in compliance with QA manual, company policies, procedures, and applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare work instructions for corrective maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, and modifications.
- Select and approve purchase of materials needed for work package execution.
- Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
- Interface with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to resolve work package issues.
- Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required for planned work packages.
- Facilitate package preparation by preparing and submitting required documentation.
- Verify work instructions are adequate and comply with applicable station procedures.
- Approve and review work packages to ensure safety, high quality, and technical rigor.
- MID LEVEL MAINTENANCE PLANNER: High school diploma with minimum of four years' experience in the craft discipline.
- LEAD LEVEL MAINTENANCE PLANNER: Four-year technical degree with five years' experience in the discipline being planned for, or two-year technical degree with seven years' experience, or nine years' experience in lieu of degree.
- MID LEVEL MAINTENANCE PLANNER: 4-year or 2-year technical degree, successful completion of core supervisory/management training, and 5 years minimum experience in nuclear power plant operations.
- LEAD LEVEL MAINTENANCE PLANNER: Previous experience in the craft of the discipline being planned for, and previous nuclear power plant experience.
