Transformative Opportunity in Fertility Care

At US Fertility, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate IVF/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team in the River North Procedural unit. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a transformative difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Role

This is a full-time position responsible for providing exceptional patient-focused surgical care. You will work closely with our team of physicians and staff to deliver compassionate and personalized care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain clinical expertise in surgical aspects of patient care
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and staff to provide exceptional patient care
  • Direct all aspects of patient surgical care, completing the nursing process in the operating room
  • Manage nursing care for patients throughout the surgical preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases
  • Perform initial preoperative assessment, introduce self to the patient and family, verify patient's identity, and explain subsequent phases of surgery
  • Responsible for interoperative and immediate postoperative care
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and others as necessary to coordinate patient's complete care and service
  • Perform procedures within the RN scope of practice and established company policies
  • Assist with other duties as needed
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current Illinois license in good standing. BSN preferred
  • Experience in 1-2 years in ambulatory care is a major plus
  • Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification
  • Experience in infertility nursing preferred but not required
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time-management, customer service, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work well in a very fast-paced environment with a high patient volume, while maintaining
