Job Title: Per Diem IVF/PACU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem IVF/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team at Fertility Centers of Illinois, LLC.

About the Role

This is a per diem position, working 40 hours per week, rotating weekends 2 per month. The schedule is flexible, with start times between 6:30am - 8am to 3-4pm, depending on the needs of the unit.

As a Per Diem IVF/PACU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing patient-focused surgical care, working closely with physicians and staff to deliver exceptional, compassionate care.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain clinical expertise in surgical aspects of patient care.
  • Direct all aspects of patient surgical care, completing the nursing process in the operating room.
  • Manage nursing care for patients throughout the surgical preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases.
  • Perform initial preoperative assessment, introduce self to the patient and family, verify patient's identity, and explain subsequent phases of surgery.
  • Responsible for interoperative and immediate postoperative care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and others as necessary to coordinate patient's complete care and service.
  • Perform procedures within the RN scope of practice and established company policies.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current Illinois license in good standing. BSN preferred.
  • Experience in 1-2 years in ambulatory care is a major plus.
  • Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification.
  • Experience in infertility nursing preferred but not required.
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time-management, customer service, and critical-thinking skills.
