Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Atlantic Constructors, Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair commercial HVAC systems, including boilers, forced air, and hydronic systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, and modifications as needed
  • Provide technical support to customers and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work with minimal supervision and demonstrate problem-solving skills

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC industry or residential field
  • Knowledge of basic electricity, electrical and control systems
  • Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics
  • Must be able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen and background checks

Work Environment:

  • May work in varying temperatures, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness
  • May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including dust

Physical Demands:

  • This role routinely uses construction equipment, including heavy machinery, hand and power tools
  • While performing duties, the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HVAC Journeyman/Master certification
  • Prior military experience
  • HS diploma or GED equivalent
